Founded in 2010, Eater Iron Bang now operates eleven restaurant brands — including Xiāng Lián Teppanyaki, Fù Wàng Hào, Jī Yóu Budget Teppanyaki, Wēi Yǔ Steakhouse, Zhōu Zhào Zi, Gān Mèi Lòng Táng and Yán Dì — with revenues exceeding NT$450 million in 2025. 潘威達 holds a doctorate in hospitality management from National Taiwan Normal University and has long taught there and at National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism. In June 2026 he launched the Believe in Goodness BE KIND industry-academia collaboration platform.
